Top Gun Coatings, a local powder coating company is my sponsor for the upcoming triathlon season!!! One of my clients at work (thanks Larry!) has offered to help cover some of the race costs for triathlons that I am competing in this summer! They have given me the green light to go and get some tri gear in which they will put their logo on if I wear it for the triathlon season! They sponsor race cars and I will be their first racer other than on the track, a proud member of Top Gun Racing I am!!!!!
It really blew me away when he offered. I have not even really done a triathlon before unless you count the super sprint and the team one last year and I have a sponsor already! How exciting! The more I think about it though, what better place is there to get your logo out there than at a triathlon. All the athletes, spectators, and locals will all see it, where else would you get more exposure in just a few hours!
I made sure to ask if there are any performance guarantees but thankfully he said no! First, last or in the middle is all good! Thanks again everyone at Top Gun, I look forward to be part of the team!
In other news, I got a new toy in the mail today. It is called the TRX training system. It is really interesting. It is two nylon bands that you can strap to anything and use them for a workout! I played around with it with some clients today at the gym and fooled around after myself with it and it is quite the challenge. Lots of stability, lots of core, lots of coordination and all body weight! The neat thing is it only takes a few seconds to put up so you can use it anywhere from home to parks and in the gym. I'm excited to learn to use it better, it will be a good tool in the old tool box I'm sure!
